Brandon:
I founded this site in June 2007 to help articulate what conservatism is all about. I write about many things and I am not afraid to go after anyone who is liberal, be they Republican, Democrat, Green, Blue, Purple, etc. I am sick and bloody tired of having to compromise my principles by voting for Republicans that talk like conservatives and then govern like liberals.
I have a “regular” job as a network manager for a large cell phone company, and live with my wife and three kids in Central Oregon.

I am a disabled veteran, served 13+ years in the Army as an artileryman. Father of 3, grandfather of 3+ (#4 is on the way). Devoted husband of 29+ years. Although I should be a Democrat because I get all of my support from the VA and SS I just can’t bring myself to bend that way. Conservative to the core and vocal in my beliefs.
Josh Painter:
Born in Louisiana in 1945. 13 years later moved to Houston, TX where some actual Republicans lived. Radio biz 20 years in TX, NM, OK and AR. Settled in AR, with broadcast journalism degree at U of A and most work for MBA done. Mid-life career change to keyboard from microphone around ‘80. Attitudes, lifelong beliefs also changed, thanks to Reagan and Rush.
George Allen supporter, gravitated to Duncan Hunter post-macaca, but on trade, spending and big gov’t, he left me wanting. Learned of grassroots movement to draft Fred on DraftFredThompson.com and research proved Sen. Thompson worthy of my unqualified support. Now that FDT is out of the race, I’m blogging for Fred’s brand of across-the-board conservatism at my two blogs - Mainstream Conservative and Reagan Conservative Journal.
