Jimmy Carter, you are the father of the Islamic Nazi movement. You threw the Shah under the bus, welcomed the Ayatollah home, and then lacked the spine to confront the terrorists when they took our embassy and our people hostage. You’re the runner-in-chief.
Bill Clinton, you played ring around the Lewinsky while the terrorists were at war with us. You got us into a fight with them in Somalia and then you ran from it. Your weak-willed responses to the U.S.S. Cole and the First Trade Center Bombing and Our Embassy Bombings emboldened the killers. Each time you failed to respond adequately, they grew bolder, until 9/11/2001.
John Kerry, dishonesty is your most prominent attribute. You lied about American Soldiers in Vietnam .. Your military service, like your life, is more fiction than fact. You’ve accused our military of terrorizing women and children in Iraq .. You called Iraq the wrong war, wrong place, wrong time, the same words you used to describe Vietnam .. You’re a fake. You want to run from Iraq and abandon the Iraqis to murderers just as you did the Vietnamese. Iraq , like Vietnam , is another war that you were for, before you were against it.
John Murtha, you said our military was broken. You said we can’t win militarily in Iraq .. You accused United States Marines of cold-blooded murder without proof and said we should redeploy to Okinawa . Okinawa, John? And the Democrats call you their military ex pert! Are you sure you didn’t suffer a traumatic brain injury while you were off building your war hero resume? You’re a sad, pitiable, corrupt and washed up politician. You’re not a Marine, sir. You wouldn’t amount to a good pimple on a real Marine’s backside. You’re a phony and a disgrace. Run away, John.
Dick Durbin, you accused our Soldiers at Guantanamo of being Nazis, tenders of Soviet style gulags and as bad as the regime of Pol Pot, who murdered two million of his own people after your party abandoned Southeast Asia to the Communists. Ted Kennedy, for days on end you held poster-sized pictures from Abu Ghraib in front of any available television camera. Al Jazeera quoted you saying that Iraqi’s torture chambers were open under new management. Did you see the news, Teddy? The Islamic Nazis demonstrated another beheading for you. If you truly supported our troops, you’d show the world poster-sized pictures of that atrocity and demand the annihilation of it. Your legislation stripping support from the South Vietnamese led to a communist victory there. You’re a bloated, drunken fool bent on repeating the same historical blunder that turned freedom-seeking people over to homicidal, genocidal maniacs. Self-serving politics and terrorist-abetting news scoops are more important to you than our national security or the lives of innocent civilians and Soldiers. Yes, I’m questioning your patriotism. Your loyalty ends with self. I’m also questioning why you’re stealing air that decent Americans could be breathing. You don’t deserve the protection of our men and women in uniform. You need to run away from this war, this country. Well up a little anger, please, and channel it toward the appropriate target. You must prosecute those who leak national security secrets to the media. You must prosecute those in the media who knowingly publish those secrets.
Our Soldiers need you to confront the enemy that they cannot. They need you to do it now.

Thank you for putting into words what so many of us think. What is the answer to these fools? In Sept. 1966 I took an oath to defend our Constitution from all enemies foreign or domestic. Although I am no longer in active service, I’m still a Marine and bound by my oath. I think you are correct when you say these domestic enemies are far more dangerous than an armed foe standing apposed.
Now Jimmy Carter has gone to Lebanon to talk with Hezbola. Can’t we take away his passport?

Just because you are an ex-sgt doesn’t mean you have a brain, or even know what true patriotism means. Look at Oliver North. As a guest host of the Rush Limblahhhh show he uttered the following traitorous words: “If I knew of any harm which would come to the president (Clinton) he would do nothing to stop it”. North made that statement to the millions of unbalanced and virtually braindead Rush Limblahhh faithful. I am sure in audience many Rush supporters had their guns locked and loaded ready for one of their ‘leaders’ to give them the nudge to kill Clinton.
Republicanism is no longer a political party, it is a disease worse than Ebola and the only treatment for it is awareness, truth and facts. Unfortunately, the corrupt and evil republican party constantly spews out lying propaganda to manipulate people with fear and lies. The republican party consistently tries to dupe the people for their own gain and to hell with the best interests of the US or Americans. Bush and Cheney deliberately lied to go to war against a country which had nothing to do with 9/11 or terrorism against the US. Iraq never once threatened the US, but that didn’t stop Rice, Bush and Cheney from saying Iraq could attack the US within 45 minutes in the ‘form of a mushroom cloud’. Why do republicans still believe the evilness in their corrupt party? Are all republicans stupid, illieterate and ignorant? Apparently so, because they all act like thirsty, mongrel dogs lapping up every drop of drool that flows from their corrupt leaders like GW Bush, a war criminal, a liar, a fraud, and a mass murderer. For every Muslim Bush has murdered in Iraq he has created hundreds of new terrorists. You do not win the hearts and minds of people by killing their mothers and fathers. You do not win their support by killing their babies, their sisters and brothers. But Bush, and the criminals who controlled his every move, never intended to save Iraqis from Hussein. They started their evil war to funnel hundreds of billions of dollars out of our treasury into the coffers of corrupt corporations, like Halliburton. Bush and Cheney are using our soldiers as low-paid mercenaries only in Iraq to defend the financial interests of corrupt corporations who bought Bush’s presidencies.
I wish republicans would wake from their comas and start to think, for a change. But that won’t happen to most of them. They ALWAYS put the interests of their corrupt party ahead of that of the United States and Americans.

Ahhh, the ‘rewriting’ history line that conservatives often like to use. You have so many talking points you always refer to, instead of any deep analysis or thought. I noticed you did not denounce Oliver North, a republican ‘god’, for his treasonous comments about President Clinton. North also promised to protect and defend the US against all enemies and that would include a would-be assassin of President Clinton. But republicans still cheer on every world North spews out of his mouth.
While you are talking about rewriting history let’s talk about GW Bush. He rewrote history when the republicans deliberately lied about John McCain during the 2000 campaign. Bush’s religious right buddies who are supposed to tell the truth and not bear false witness against thy neighbor, instead choose to lie about McCain’s service record, his family, and even his sanity. If those people were ‘Christians’ I am sure Jesus would slap them all for their lies and their despicable acts.
There is a lot of flak you conservatives are spraying at Obama right now because he dared to say he wanted to merely open up a dialogue with countries deemed as enemies. But you conservatives forget that Bush opened up a dialogue with North Korea and Lybia. You also forgot that Reagan not only opened up a dialogue with terrorists, he gave them millions of dollars and weapons. Reagan also talked with the Soviet Union, our biggest enemy in the world at the time. You can’t have it both ways, but you always do, and that is called ‘hypocrisy’. BTW, Reagan didn’t end the cold war. The end of the Soviet Union would have occurred without Reagan bankrupting the US, by increasing our deficit to four trillion dollars. Even Henry Kissinger said that the end of the Soviet Union would have occurred even if Reagan had never been president and it would have ended within six months of when it finally ended. And speaking of Reagan, have you ever questioned his fiscal irresponsibility? Conservatives constantly blame the democratic controlled congress for all of the spending in the eighties, but you never have once blamed your god Reagan. Not once in his eight years did Reagan ever veto an appropriations bill, not ONCE! The buck stops at the desk of the president and Reagan OKed every appropriations bill congress submitted to him. Don’t believe me, look it up. And again, I urge you to not go to a reich wing site for your information. Search for the facts and let them lead you, and not the typical conservative bias and manipulations.

As a liberal I am in very good company. Jesus was also a liberal who gave food to the poor and helped those who were sick. Conservatives are always for spening unlimited amounts of money on weapons, killing and destruction, but never want to spend a dime to help a fellow human being. Conservatives love massive military budgets regardless of whether a new weapon actually even works or is needed.
Your beloved Newt Gingrich and Trent Lott, while leaders of congress received more pork for their districts/states than any other representatives/senators in the country, except for the district where the Kennedy Space Center is located. BTW, while both Gingrich and Lott where supposedly against government spending and the size of government itself they spent all of their time funneling billions of dollars to their districts/state in the form of battleships and aircraft the Penagon didn’t want, need or even ask for. Gingrich also had many millions spent on government buildings in his district that were not needed, they were just pure pork. So while they were talking about limiting government from one side of their mouthes, they were doing just the opposite with the other half of their mouthes.
And don’t forget the attempt by Trent Lott to bail out a chicken rancher to the tune of 350 million dollars because that company made a bad business decision. Trent Lott hid a provision in another bill to try to slip that 350 million dollar bailout through, but at the last moment the media found out about Lott’s attempt to steal money from the people and give it to one of his campaign donors. Conflict of interest? Yes. Corrupt? Yes. Unethical? Yes. But conservatives cheer on these so-called leaders regardless of their hypocrisy and their dishonesty.
And if conservatives were for less government why did they froth at the mouths over GW Bush? Bush increased the size of the Texas’ state government a whopping 33 percent in just six years. Guess how much the size of the US government has grown under Bush and how much debt we now have? I believe in not spending what you don’t have, but conservatives obviously don’t believe as i do. They believe that ANY spending by conservative republicans is great.
When republicans controlled all three branches of government for almost six years they didn’t do one thing to protect the US from terrorists. Since 9/11 more than twelve million illegal aliens have simply walked across our borders. Since it only took 19 terrorists to cause all of the damage on 9/11 how many in that 12 million are terrorists who have entered the US with intentions to harm the US and Americans? Bush promised to protect Americans after 9/11 but he believes doing full body cavity searches on the elderly, women and children will stop terrorism in the US, while he did absolutely nothing to close our southern border. I am a liberal but I have been advocating the closing of the border for thirty years.
And while republicans controlled the entire government they did absolutely NOTHING to deter our dependence on foreign oil, absolutely nothing. But you conservatives still cheered them on like little girls all dressed up in cheerleader uniforms. In the last 1970s Jimmy Carter started many initiatives which would have made us much more energy independent. But as soon as Reagan became president he stopped every one of those initiatives. Of course, Reagan and the republican party have always been owned by corporations and since the oil industry owns the republican party all government measures to make this country energy independent were eliminated. This isn’t revisionist history, it is the truth. Look it up and don’t just go to the republican party platform for your information. Look up the truth elsewhere because it certainly won’t be found in the republican platform.
The Sgt who wrote the original article severely blasted Carter for being weak against the terrorists who held our hostages. But even before Reagan became president he was talking to those very same terrorists because they were released on Reagan’s first inauguration day. You can deny all you want that there was no quid pro quo between Reagan and the terrorists, but you will just be further deluding yourselves. Reagan even gave money and weapons to the enemy, a lot of which ended up eventually being used against US troops. Speaking of troops, do you remember the approximately 245 Marines who were killed in their sleep? Reagan ordered our military in harm’s way and then told they were not allowed to defend themselves. They were specifically ordered to not use their weapons. Even though they were in a very hostile area only a single guard shack protected them from a suicide truck bomber. There was not one conservative who attacked Reagan for his incompetent use of our military and the deaths of so many of our nation’s finest. Not one word of condemnation. And that is because of Reagan’s 11th commandment which states “Thou shall not speak ill of another republican”. I know you won’t believe that either. Look it up and don’t just mindlessly listen to the Fox News propaganda channel. BTW, there were more ‘peacetime’ military deaths under Reagan than any other president. When President Carter tried to rescue the hostages two of the helicopters were downed by a severe sandstorm. Conservatives like you savagely attacked Carter for trying to rescue the hostages, but you said nothing when Reagan colluded with the enemy to get the hostages released. President Carter was the most honest president we ever had, but even so, you attack him on a regular basis while cheering on criminals like Bush and Cheney.
Can you imagine what you conservatives would have done if Vice President Gore left a company to become the VP and then funnel hundreds of billions of dollars in NO BID contracts? You would have been on every freak radio talk show blathering about how corrupt Gore was to funnel our tax dollars into the coffers of a company he just left. And not one conservative even questioned why Cheney became the CEO of Halliburton in the first place. Cheney had no experience as a CEO and he had no experience in the oil industry. The only experience he had in ‘oil’ was having his driver pull his limo into a full service station and having it fueled. Face it, the only reason Cheney became CEO of Halliburton was because he had government connections and Halliburton knew Cheney could funnel millions of dollars in contracts to their company. Why else would they pay a guy $55 million in only five years who had no experience? Apparently conservatives love to see government officials going from being a ’supposed’ public servant to that of a corrupt executive of a corporation. Speaking of government officials who leave office to get rich at the expense of US citizens, do you remember your almost speaker of the house “Livingston”. After his immoral escapades became known and he resigned from congress he broke the law by becoming a lobbyist within two months after he resigned. The law states he had to wait at least a year, but this same person who blathered on and on about the ‘rule of the law’ when impeaching President Clinton for lying about a sexual matter, deliberately broke the law by becoming a lobbyist. And what about the vows Livingston made to God when he married his wife and then violated God’s law? Conservatives were completely silent on that issue too? In fact when the great American Larry Flynt outed more than a dozen republicans who had sex with interns, had babies with interns and even refused to give child support to his illegitimate son, conservatives were completely silent. Even when your hero and god, Newt Gingrich, divorced wife number three dumping her in a cancer ward in a hospital you conservatives were completely silent.
While you all go gaga when you listen to the likes of your radio heroes like Hannity, Limblahhh and O’Reilly, all three cowardly microphone bullies who routinely attack people for their beliefs on air after they hang up on their callers. When Limblahhh was caught with enough pills to legally consider him a drug dealer he got away with his crime while tens of thousands of other people in Florida were put in prison. And why was Limblahhhh possessing bottles of Viagra prescribed to a different person and why didn’t the conservatives attack him by at least asking him why he was using Viagra since he wasn’t married at the time? Oh you moral conservatives. Morality is only an issue if you can attack an opponent. You are being hypocritical and dishonest by not attacking anyone who is immoral or unethical, or in Bush and Cheney’s place, criminals.
I am not a member of any major political party. Both the republican and democratic parties are corrupt. But the republican party is not just corrupt, it is pure evil. All the republican party cares about is money, money and more money, and to hell with human beings.
I am an American who served my country in the military. I did not go AWOL or leave early as Bush did. I served when no one else in your ‘conservative’ white house did. Cheney received five deferments to avoid serving in Vietnam. Every talking head on Fox News also avoided service in Vietnam, because they too found a way aroundlack serving their country. It seems as if it is an employment requirement to not serve your country, while being a war hawk. This also seems to be a conservative belief.
I could go on and on, but I am writing to a black hole where no truth or facts will ever get in the way of your perceived beliefs. You will continue to believe in a fantasy because you are not capable of accepting reality. To be a good American our forefathers often said that Americans should be ever vigilant against government tyranny and abuses. But conservatives seem to bask in the darkness from the shroud of propaganda spewed forth from the reich wing republican machine. You will keep uttering Heil Bu$h! First off, it was not treasonous what Oliver North said regarding President Clinton, for treason is betraying one’s country, not the president. If it were treason to refuse to aid the president, that would mean that the president WAS the country instead of REPRESENTING the country. Just one more point on this subject, if it truly is treason to refuse to help or aid the President to save his life, then it is also treasonous not to support him or her in any other situation they may find themselves in, life threatening or not. Thus, it would be treason anytime a liberal opened their mouth to complain about President George W. Bush.
While I’m not happy with President Bush, just as I don’t care for braindead liberalism, I do NOT wish to see liberals imprisoned for speaking out against him. Doing so would set an incredibly dangerous precident, one that would signal the end of free speech in America, although I’m afraid we’re already well down that road due to liberal elitism in the press and acadamia.
Next, Jesus was not a liberal. Notice how he never said to the woman at the well, “you had a bad childhood, so it’s okay you’re committing adultery.” Jesus actually raised the bar. Moses said, “don’t have sex with any woman you’re not married to.” Jesus said, “don’t even think about it.” Moses said, “do not murder.” Jesus said, “don’t even think about it.” He demanded strict moral behavior, something at odds with liberal promiscuity and told his disciples to “stop judging by outward appearence and make a right judgement.” (judgement probably in evaluation, not condemnation) Herein we find in Jesus His love and mercy.
Jesus, as the son of God, could have damned us all to hell immediately, yet through his love for us offered himself up as a sacrifice so that through faith in Him we might be saved.
Enough preaching, didn’t mean to rant. Okay, moving on…
Rregarding some of your other points. The founding fathers were not liberals, they were patriots. The only beliefs some had which could have approached the title of “liberal” were those advocating big, or strong, government. “Liberal” however tends to be a relative word depending on the era and organization one is talking about, so a “liberal” in the colonial society would be a “conservative” in modern America.
Moving on, I think conservatives care deeply about the poor, they just have a different idea of how to help them. One book you might want to read is called, “Who Really Cares” by Arthur C. Brooks. He talks about how conservatives consistently outgive liberals, and on a 16% less salary. This is surprising if nothing else, and seems to lend support to the assertion that liberals are only generous with other people’s money.
To be fair, there are people out there on both sides of the isle I like, just like there’s people on both sides of the isle I dislike. However, I do admit that I have a problem with more of the left’s leaders than I do those of the right.
I fear for this country.

Sgt. Major Pendry has definitely put into words what I feel about the Axis of Idiots, and I appreciate not only what he says, but its succinctness and brevity. I’m not blindly leaping to the defense of George W Bush either, for he has missed many opportunities to confirm his status as leader. This speaks volumes in fact about the GOP, many of whose congressional members are much too “gentlemanly” in response to their colleagues on the left.

I think both Pendry and Haggee are blind to the real truth. I think it’s about time the real Americans took back our Country, our Capital, our White House, I would like to propose that after this election we the people start to organize a 10 million person march on Washington D.C. for labor day 2009. I think the Sgt Major is right. What about the M16 in the early part of Nam that jammed often and that the politicos said it was a good weapon. Pendry character conveniently forgets the fact that George W. didn’t do his research on Iraq’s WMDs (or deliberately lied; we’ll probably never know) and led the country into a disastrous and costly war. Pendry also talks about Carter and Iran. Know who really lost Iran? It was Eisenhower. That’s right, Eisenhower. In 1953, the Eisenhower administration masterminded a joint CIA-British plot to overthrow democratically elected leader Mohammed Mossadegh, who was perceived as a threat to US interests because he tried to nationalize the country’s oil assets.

After throwing out Mossadegh, the US installed a pro-American regime (headed by Shah the First) that proceeded to suppress free speech and protest, even as it attempted to modernize the country. The Shah was a very mixed blessing for Iran. By some he was seen as a progressive force. By many others however, he was seen as puppet, and a constant insult to Iranian national pride. As protests against the US-imposed dictatorship grew, the political momentum swung to the reactionary pro-Islamic forces, and culminated in the overthrow of Shah the Second and the institution of an “Islamic Republic.”
Bottom line: If the U.S. hadn’t ousted a democratically elected leader in Iran and installed a U.S. puppet in his place, the Ayatollah, the hostage crisis, etc., would never have happened.
Does this J.D. Pendry character even know about the history of Iran? Do any of his readers? How many Americans know Thing 1 about the history or culture of the Middle East? Very few, yet for some reason they think they can just go in there, kick some ass, and get out. My family was worried and considering the merit of installing a fall out shelter. After it was all over, it seems that I can recall Premier Nikita Khrushchev making a statement or quoted as such. These are widely attributed to extending the great depression for an additional 7 years. Furthermore, the states voluntarily join the union, also have the option of leaving the union of their own accord. Look it up brianiacs. If “the one” does not pull his head out of his left wing liberal @ss, we may be facing another civil war. Which by the way was an unconstitutional act by president Lincoln.

SMG, you still carry an ID card? Then you are still held to the oath of enlistment . You can have a voice unto yourself but there remains the fact, you are still under that oath. Its like they stated years ago, America Love It Or Leave It. You have the chance to change it every election, hopefully you vote. Leave the ghost of the past already, we got sold down the creek by the same people that now praise the military member, Your neighbor and mine, the American people. That is what swayed the politicians to abandon the VN people. Not the politicians themselves.They were making too much money to quit on thier own. It never ceases to amaze me how we get so emotionally engaged over two political parties that I might suggest are “two peas in a pod”. I have maintained for some time now the difference between a Democrat and a Republican is the crap they feed the faithful to transfer the faithfuls money and power to themselves.
I lean to conservative values based on my firm belief that each and every one of us has not only the right to PURSUE success and happiness but that we also have the obligation to contribute to the welfare of our nation. This is not the moving target that some modern day constitutional geniuses would have you believe. It also does not blend well with the political schemes and power grabs that are so common in DC today.
We all make mistakes but when the same mistakes are repeated for decades it starts to resemble a habit. I have personally made a promise to myself that I will not vote for an incumbent and that will be my policy for the forseeable future. It weakens my intestinal fortitude when I hear people argue that they are all crooks EXCEPT my representative.
Wake up people. We are beginnng to resemble a well trained flock!

My question to most of you cry babies,,,,, where you ever in the military, did “YOU” serve, or just read about what went on in the Nam, or Iraq ?
The stories I have read don’t match what really went on in Nam, and those brothers, who were there, would tell you most of it was lies.
Now about our country today………….. it is falling apart, open your eyes, just look at yourselves bashing each other about what someone says…
Remember, this is America and our freedom of is one of the things we Americans have all fought and died for, and this my friends, even includes the freedom of speech.

As a veteran myself I can only state that this Sergeant Major has taken those that seek to destroy us to task, Every word he has put down is the honest truth. I can only assume that this is what happens when you are governed by non-military type that don’t have or never will have any idsea as to what it is olike to defend thios country. I see where China pushed our ships around while at see today March 9, 2009. You can bet Obama will not push back. Obama doesn’t have the guts to push back. Obama has the guts to kill babies but doesn’t have the guts to deal with China or Iran or Russia. If I were the commander in chief China I would have blown up all of those ships who gave our ships a bad time. American leadership if full fo cowards. Folks - I have the capability to look up ALL military retirees and there is NO J. D. Pendry, Sgt Maj, USMC on file. There is an Army Command Sergeant Major listed, but no Marine. Most of what the person who posted said I feel is true, but the person isn’t who he says he is. That makes me wonder what his motive is. Sorry about that, but this is the truth.
I’m sure that this SM Pendry is as fictional as the WMDs in Iraq but thank you GW Bush for destroying the world as we once knew it. No oversight, no intelligence, no intelligible speech and elected twice, not by me thank goodness. Now the reasonable people have to clean up his mess.
Well said SGM. Statements like this will be heard, and should be heard, more often now that our country is being threatened to its core by self-gratifying and apologetic socialist agendas. It is vital that we speak up, speak often, and speak loud if we are going to be heard. If they continue to ignore us, then they cannot be shocked when We the People decide to take this country back by whatever means necessary. I have confidence in the American people and believe that we will answer this call to action. We who took the oath will be duty-bound to lead them.
I served as a 19D Cavalry Scout from 89-93. I made an oath and will keep that oath until the day I die (unlike Mr Hagee who seems to feel his term of service was the total ecompassment his duty). I have Gulf War Syndrome and will more likely than not, die from it. Nevertheless, I regret nothing in my honorable service. So, it is very hard for me to hear our political leaders apologize for America’s behaviour, for my behaviour, for the behaviour of our troops. We have nothing to be ashamed of and any man who feels the need to apologize does not deserve a voice in this country to do so. It sickens me that our current Commander in Chief is one of those people.
Mr. Hagee, you are a traitor and a coward - your right to dissent (another gift you obviously take for granted) goes beyond discourse into the realm of blind, unashamed, ignorance. You claim you wore the uniform, sir, but obviously that’s all it was to you.
