Huckabee now the martyr?

February 18, 2008 · Print This Article

Mike Huckabee is telling crowds that he’s killing his political career.  I have to laugh at this, hell all you can do as laugh at this.  No one has taken the Huckster seriously since Iowa even then it was clear that very few took him seriously, but now I guess we are to feel sorry for him.  Did he have much of a political career left anyway?  I know he is angling for the VP slot but McCain would have to completely surpass his previous lapses in judgment to pick a tax and spend liberal governor.  Huckabee brings nothing to McCain except a drop in IQ that McCain can ill afford.

For those that wish to read about the poor Huckster compare himself to Reagan, not recommended if you have eaten in the last hour, here is the link

I actually like the huckster, I only wish that he would have been truely more conservative. So that people would have a reason to listen. I like his support for tax reform, but dont like his semi-liberal attitude on the mexican invasion. Out of McCain, Huckabee, and Romny, I perferd Romney, but I think McCaine has the best chance at beating the ultra liberal, socialist, and communist like ideas of the Hilda Beast, and the alabama Bama fellow.

I know I can’t spell, but then again I was educated by the goverment!

    Chris,

We have beat the FairTax issue to death here. I believe it is a flawed plan, there is too much government in the plan, it is another method for redistributing wealth for the left.

Now I support the premise of a comsumption based tax but as long as it includes prebates and doesn’t exempt food and medicine I won’t support it.

Got something to say?
