It’s time for the gloves to come off Mr. President

With the resignation of Attorney General Alberto Gonzales the President has an opportunity to do something with the justice department. The President needs to appoint someone who believes strongly in the foreign surveillance program, he needs to appoint someone who will go into the justice department, not with a new tone, but someone that will clean house of the endless career bureaucrats that been undermining the administration.
Chuck Schumer was quoted as saying that democrats “will not obstruct or impede a nominee who we are confident will put the rule of law above political considerations.” Translation: It’s ok for democrats to put political considerations above the rule of law when a democrat is in the white house but republicans have do what democrats think is right. BULL@$%&. It’s time for President Bush to nominate someone tough, someone strong, someone who will investigate the endless leaks for classified information, someone who will investigate corruption in congress, Diane Feinstein anyone. I am tired of this loser band of has been democrats weak spineless republicans like Arlen Specter determining the agenda and what give them the power to say what’s right or wrong!

So basically you’re saying that you want the president to nominate a yes man with no regard to the law. You’re a dumb shi!t who really should just enlist and serve your country because maybe just maybe you’ll take a bullet meant for someone who actually has a clue. Nice blog you got here. Your posts must echo for hours seeing how empty this place is. Anyway, when you finally graduate from community college, think about doing some hard working soldier a favor and fighting for the cause you apparently fervently believe in and let some family man get to stay home a while longer with his kids.
Ah one of those enlightened compassionate liberals. Do I expect the President to nominate someone who will follow the law, of course, that goes without saying. We’re talking about Republicans here; we’re not talking about a democrat administration that keeps their AG on a string like Janet Reno. The fact that Gonzales resigned in the face of criticism from the likes of mental giant Chuckie Schumer is revolting.
Personally I didn’t think Gonzales was that great a choice for AG. He is much too liberal to be in charge of Justice. However unlike you I understand that the Justice Department is part of the Executive Branch of government and as such people like Gonzales serve at the pleasure of the President, they do not serve at the pleasure of liberals in congress, they don’t serve at the pleasure of the American people. You need to brush up on your constitution a bit.
Now as for your personal attacks on me, if I had written statements like yours on some liberal blog, it would have been deleted and removed. People like you don’t like the thoughts and opinions of people that disagree with them, but since I believe in the constitution and the bill of rights I will leave your comments here. It helps me illustrate the absolute idiocy that conservatives face from loony leftys like you.
Oh yes as for your suggestion that I enlist and take a bullet. Unlike you, who sleep under the blanket of freedom provided by others and seek to question the manner in which they do it, I have served my country and I have taken a bullet for it. I can assure you it is not a pleasant experience, not that you would know, people like you run for the tall grass anytime someone mentions conflict.
