IMMIGRATION - THE AFTERMATH!

As I watched the voting this morning I found it interesting that the many of the senators waited until the result was assured before they voted. Be that as it may we must take time to congratulate those voting in the negative for standing up for the American people, for standing up for the constitution. Regardless of their reasons be them pure or not our system of government won out today. We appreciate the following senators:

Republicans: Domenici (R-NM), McConnell (R-KY), Alexander (R-TN), Allard (R-CO), Ensign (R-NV), Murkowski (R-AK), Barrasso (R-WY), Enzi (R-WY), Grassley (R-IA), Bond (R-MO), Roberts (R-KS), Hatch (R-UT), Brownback (R-KS), Hutchison (R-TX), Bunning (R-KY), Burr (R-NC), Inhofe (R-OK), Isakson (R-GA), Shelby (R-AL), Smith (R-OR), Chambliss (R-GA), Coburn (R-OK), Stevens (R-AK), Sununu (R-NH), Cochran (R-MS), Coleman (R-MN), Collins (R-ME), Thune (R-SD), Vitter (R-LA), Voinovich (R-OH), Warner (R-VA), Cornyn (R-TX), Corker (R-TN), Crapo (R-ID), DeMint (R-SC), Dole (R-NC), Sessions (R-AL)

Democrats: Dorgan (D-ND), Baucus (D-MT), Bayh (D-IN), Nelson (D-NE), Bingaman (D-NM), Pryor (D-AR), Brown (D-OH), Harkin (D-IA), Rockefeller (D-WV), Sanders (I-VT), Byrd (D-WV), Stabenow (D-MI), Webb (D-VA), McCaskill (D-MO), Tester (D-MT), Landrieu (D-LA).

Now it is time to remember the Senators that voted to sell out the constitution and the rule of law for those that break the law. Also note when their current term expires so that you can hold them responsible at the ballot box.

Republicans: Bennett (R-UT) 2010, Graham (R-SC) 2008, Gregg (R-NH) 2010, Hagel (R-NE) 2008, Kyl (R-AZ) 2012, Snowe (R-ME) 2012, Specter (R-PA) 2010, Lott (R-MS) 2012, Lugar (R-IN) 2012, Martinez (R-FL) 2010, McCain (R-AZ) 2010, Craig (R-ID) 2008

Democrats: Akaka (D-HI) 2012, Menendez (D-NJ) 2012, Durbin (D-IL) 2008, Mikulski (D-MD) 2010, Murray (D-WA) 2010, Feingold (D-WI) 2010, Feinstein (D-CA) 2012, Biden (D-DE) 2008, Nelson (D-FL) 2012, Obama (D-IL) 2010, Boxer (D-CA) 2010, Reed (D-RI) 2008, Reid (D-NV) 2010, Salazar (D-CO) 2010, Inouye (D-HI) 2010, Schumer (D-NY) 2010, Cantwell (D-WA) 2012, Cardin (D-MD) 2012, Carper (D-DE) 2012, Casey (D-PA) 2012, Kennedy (D-MA) 2012, Clinton (D-NY) 2012, Kerry (D-MA) 2008, Klobuchar (D-MN) 2012, Kohl (D-WI) 2012, Lautenberg (D-NJ) 2008, Conrad (D-ND) 2012, Leahy (D-VT) 2010, Levin (D-MI) 2008, Lincoln (D-AR) 2010, Dodd (D-CT) 2010, Whitehouse (D-RI) 2012, Wyden (D-OR) 2010, Lieberman (ID-CT) 2012

So for you republicans that urged the rejection of this bill we have some work to do. We must work hard to defeat Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Chuck Hagel (R-NE), and Larry Craig (R-ID) in 2008. As we move closer to the 2008 elections we’ll not only remind you of these senators misdeeds but we will also provide information on conservatives running against them.

For the conservative Democrats, I am sorry but you face an uphill battle but here are the senators coming up in 2008 to be defeated: Dick Durbin (D-IL), Joe Biden (D-DE), Jack Reed (D-RI), John Kerry (D-MA), Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ), Carl Levin (D-MI).

Again thanks to those that wrote letters, called, emailed, and kept up pressure on your senators. You have proven that this government is accountable to the people and more important you have proven to the politicians that their power is derived from you the voter!
